Who Are The Rare Bits?
The Rare Bits are a semi-like minded group of cartoonists who share a common goal. That goal? Making comics that aren’t junk. Comics that you, the discerning reader might enjoy…uh…reading. What is our method of delivery? The internet. You know, like bits. As in data. Appropriate, neh?
What Are Rare Bits?
Rare Bits are the half-baked notions, ramblings, and marginal scribblings that all of us populate our sketchbooks, notebooks and minds with. Rarebit is also a foodstuff consisting of melted cheese served on toast (basically). It has been known to cause particularly vivid dreams.
Why Rare Bits?
Look, we’ve all got a home. Sam has Here Comes Everyone, Jen has Mermaid Hostel, and Jason has Billy the Dunce. But this is where we all get together to let off a little steam. Where we don’t have to kill ourselves making everything just right. Will this mean comics? Yeah, some. What about all purpose ranting? Probably. Some of us are prone to ranting. But really, it means anything. The sky’s the limit and space is where we all go to suffocate. And explode. Don’t you want to watch us all explode?
So come and enjoy what we do when we aren’t doing what we do. And then feel free to wander off and enjoy what we do do. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
